Christmas Dinner for two.....

I am crazy about this apron, I think it is adorable! I love to entertain during the holidays and it is a great way to stay festive and not dirty your cloths. I surprised the hubby today and made a special Christmas dinner for two. He was crazy with the food, and it was so easy. Christmas Shopping....

So today I went for some last minute Christmas shopping, my advice....dress comfortable!

A perfect end to the weekend: some hot chocolate and a movie....

I love to have this tray on my coffee table, it looks great and you can always add different items to decorate. My favorite decoration: coffee books, love this one I found at Anthropologie, great entertaining ideas. Also these mugs with the initials are great, I have one for me and one for my husband. I also bought the regular water cups with initials, this way we do not dirty multiple cups and we have our own cups. Both found at Anthropologie.

And the tree is decorated....

Okay, so I must share this unique Xmas tree decor, as you see in this last picture I have a picture frame ornament that has the year engraved on top. Pottery barn sells these every year. I have been collecting them since I got married, each year I put a picture of something special my husband and I did that year. 2010: Our Wedding, 2011: Buy a house, 2012: umm not sure yet what we will put, probably a trip. Years from now our tree will be full of memories!

As you can tell, I went with a silver tree. My advice is pick silver or gold, and just focus on those colors for your decor. Then get some plain Xmas balls, and slowly collect ornaments. The owls, athropologie last year, the clock, zgallerie last year, the fillers zgallerie (given the name great way to fill the tree, love these!!!)

Soda Shop...

Weekend fun at the Soda Shop, the best milk shakes and the best chili hot dogs are in Franklin, NC. This place is so old fashion the scene is an experience in itself.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.....

So over the Thanksgiving break that was spent in North Carolina, the family and I went to the Christmas tree farm, to pick out and cut our own tree. This was the first year, my husband and I picked our own for our home! I was so excited. We brought the tree back with us, and now our home in Miami smells amazing. Stay toned for the decorations....

A little bit about these weather proof shoes: they work in snow, rain, dirt, and just about anything. These are so comfortable, not easily ruined and absolutly adorable. So leave your more delicate shoes at home and throw these on to go just about anywhere and still look faboulous! Best part of all they are on sale!

Miami

So aside from the terrific weather, the views in Miami are spectacular. Check out the view for a lunch break during the work week....Love the dolphin entertainment.

After a great thanksgiving yesterday and plenty of food, today I went back to Highlands to walk around. Ended up back at Rosenthals, and got some new great finds. Sometimes it takes going around the store twice to notice some fabulous items and not to mention getting a great deal given today!

I'm going back to some home decor to show you all the fabulous thanksgiving table my mother put together...of course with my help. 

My trick on this one: Mason Jars. Found at the local grocery store in North Carolina, these things can be decorate with just about anything, leaves, flowers, candles, pines. Mix some with items, and some with just the candle.

Today I went to my favorite boutique in the world...Rosenthals. This place has absolutely faboulous finds from favorite designers. All carefully handpicked pieces. Coral, the sales associate, is always there to help and her fabulous taste of course picks the pieces that look best on my mom and I. I hope to go back before this trip comes to an end...
