Tea Pot

So here is a fun decor, grab some things you have at home (silver bucket:antique find, tea pot:Lenox) and just input the seasonal item. So for easter, found these adorable stick egg tree's at target for .99, yes .99! Talk about some cheap decor.

Have I mentioned how much I love tea pots, tea cups, anything tea! And they can serve as adorable decor. More on that later, as that should be a post in itself.

So now for some home decor...Love orchids, but people often say how demanding they are. Well yes, there are easier plants to care for but, I have a successful tip for these: Ice! Yes, ice. Feed them a few cubes of ice every other day. Orchids cannot have too much water, and not too little, so a few melted ice cubes are just right. I created this decor myself  (pot: potterybarn, put 2 orchids). For this size I usually put 4-6 ice cubes.

Fun Read...

Obviously love Kate Spade, so had to get the book that just came out (Kate Spade Things We Love). Not only a great read, but serves as some adorable decor. As mentioned before the right books are great to decorate the home! So aside form the coffee table, or trays, they also look great on some indoor garden stools. These ceramic elephants are my favorite! I got them at a small home boutique in Miami about 2 years ago, unfortunately the store closed shortly after. I have not seen them since, other than in home decor magazines.
